NGC 40 : Planetary Nebula Easily found as large (approx. 50" dia.) diffuse glow, with a 10th mag star in the center - this is only a foreground star and not the central star. With an OIII filter this star disappears to reveal the disc entirely. A good target. |

188 : Open cluster
Loose, faint medium sized scattering of stars. Counted about 15 stars around 11mag and below with the suspicion of more. Best at higher powers. I was rather disapointed with this.
2300 : Galaxy
A very, very faint fuzzy patch. Quite small. Appears to be slightly elongated with hints of a brighter middle.
