M64 : Galaxy The "Blackeye Galaxy", so called because of a prominent dust lane. Very bright, easy object, slightly oval. The famous dust lane isn't easy to spot. I've only glimnpsed it a couple of times under near perect conditions at high powers. |

M 53 : Globular Cluster
A nice bright globular, stars resolved at x128, looks even better at x200. Big, but not as nice as nearby M3 (in my opinion!).
M 3 : Globular Cluster
At low powers looks like a large, bright, speckled ball. Higher powers resolve it into a myriad pinpoints of light, superb. Well worth looking for.
4565 : Galaxy
Visible best with averted vision, a long, thin sliver of misty light. Nice edge on galaxy.
5466 : Globular Cluster
Visible only as a faint misty patch. A few degrees from M3. Really needs a very tranparent night for best results.
