NGC 6503 : Galaxy Appears brighter than published magnitudes would suggest. A medium sized, highly elongated patch of fuzzy light, gradually brighter towards the middle. A good target. |

NGC 6543 : Planetary Nebula The "Cats Eye" nebula. At low powers it appears as a very bright, small, slightly fuzzy, greenish disc. With the OIII it gets even brighter. At x200 it takes on a slightly oval shape with hints of a slightly darker center. A classic. |

M 102 : Galaxy
A small medium-bright smudge. A bright center, fading sharply to a oval shaped halo. Nice.
5907 : Galaxy
Very, very faint - although not difficult on a transparent night. With averted-vision I got the occaisional brighter glimpse. A very thin, long, misty streak
5982 & 5985 : Galaxies
A very faint pair of galaxies. NGC 5982 is the brighter, a faint ghostly glow only just brighter than the surrounding space. Needs a very transparent night to make the best of these.
6412 : Galaxy
I've only ever managed a fleeting glimpse of this with averted vision. It is extremely faint!
6340 : Galaxy
Another extremely faint galaxy. Hints of a brighter nucleus with a fainter outer halo.
6236 : Galaxy
Very similar to 6340 but ever so slightly brighter.
