M13 : Globular cluster.
A huge monster of a cluster. Big, bright a showpiece item. The best of it's kind in the Northern skies. Need I say more? The entire field, even at low powers, is crammed full of thousands of stars.
6207 : Galaxy.
Very, very, very, faint small smudge of light. Really needs M13 out of the field of view.
M92 : Globular cluster.
A super little globular. This would be Hercules' top object if it wasn't for M13. Small, very bright, very dense. Takes high powers very well.
6229 : Globular cluster.
Small, bright, round smudge next to 2 bright stars. Unable to resolve any stars in the cluster.
6181 : Galaxy.
Extremly faint. Only glimpsed with averted vision. Hard to find as there are many faint stars in field of view.
6210 : Planetary nebula.
Very bright, easy to find. Appears (to me anyway!) a distinctive bright green colour. At higher powers with OIII filter shows a small but obvious disc. One of my favourite little planetaries.
PK 53+24.1 : Planetary nebula.
Visible as an extremely faint 'star. Needs OIII filter.
6482 : Galaxy.
Another extremely faint galaxy. Visible as a very small, fuzzy 'star'. Hard.
PK 51+9.1 : Planetary nebula.
Stellar. Very faint. Visible without OIII, but really needs a filter to confirm.
