Two branch
stalwarts are planning a trip round some of our more socially
mixed hostelries. Details to follow nearer the time.

Train Trip to Lancaster and Preston
A tour of some of the Red Rose
county town's top pubs - plus a rekke of Preston on the way
back. Cheapest tickets involve a day return Chester to
Frodsham and then a day return Frodsham to Lancaster. It saves

Splendid little ticket-only event held at the Barbour
Institute in the village. There's usual a free 'mopping up'
session on the Sunday.

Special Presentation Award to Alan
Frain
Meet at 1pm at the Bunbury Arms at Stoak to reward
the landlord for achieving 25 appearances in the GBG (not
solely at the Bunbury).

Northwich Beer Festival
The 16th such event organised by local Rotary Clubs and
CAMRA. It will be held at the Northwich Memorial Hall and have
a Cornish ales theme.
