Stellarium: Stellarium is a free open source planetarium for your computer. It shows a realistic sky in 3D, just like what you see with the naked eye, binoculars or a telescope. You can install it on your PC and find out about thousands of stars, the planets and constellations. Satellite flybys: Find out when satellites are visible from Buxton. Look out for when we can see the International Space Station. The International Space Station is the biggest, brightest object orbiting Earth. The station's solar arrays span 109m from tip to tip, it is 51m wide, which makes it about the same size as a full-sized football pitch. The ISS outshines Venus; only the Sun and Moon are brighter. |
