Wide game on Grinlow with Beavers and Cubs.

Orienteering in the woods (and mud) around Gradbach, up to Lud's Church and
Castle Rocks and afterwards: traditional Scouting food.
A 10km Hike starting and finishing at Miller's Dale Station, up Monk's Dale
across to Wormhill and back along Chee Dale.
An excellent day out watching otters, owls and deer as well as building
homes for bugs.
A wet parade and service in the Dome

A two day hike from Harpur Hill to Gradbach for the or patrol leaders and assistant patrol
leaders
A 7 mile circular hike via Taddington, Litton and Monsal Dale.
Fund-raising with 3rd Harpur Hill Scout Group for new accommodation.
2007
The Scouts are away for the weekend at Gradbach.
Preparations are underway for green-fingered members of the 3rd Buxton
(Harpur Hill) Scout Group to create a sensory flowerbed at the Spring Gardens
Shopping Centre as part of Buxton's entry into the 2008 Derbyshire in Bloom
competition.
The Border Hike weekend from Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd

Topley Pike Hike was a 8-9 mile hike designed to give those scouts competing in the Border
Hike.

The Higher Buxton Well on the market place has this year been dressed to
celebrate the centenary of Scouting. Beavers, Cubs and Scouts from across
Buxton, including Harpur Hill Scouts, attended the blessing of the Well on 8th
July.
