Summer Camp 2007

This years Summer camp was at Hesley Wood Scout Activity Centre, Sheffield from 21st July to 25th July.

The omens were not good. Sheffield had spent most of June underwater, and the day we departed, most of the south of England was flooding. But ...

... the two patrols (Hippos and Rhinos) got their pitches staked out and put up their tents.

We did buggies on Sunday,

archery on Monday

and kayaking on Tuesday.

Some got wet!

Most got muddy

We gathered around the camp fire

to tell tales and sing songs.

We raised the flag

and generally had a good time.
