On Saturday May
17th we visited the Chestnut
Centre at Chapel-en-le Frith. The visit followed on from a talk to the
Scouts the previous Monday night on otters, owls and owl-pellet dissection
by
Rebecca from the Chestnut Centre. |

We were lucky to see
deer, and very fortunate to be there at feeding time for the otters
(thanks to Rebecca for arranging this)

 ... kept this lot entertained
for ages! |

After lunch and a quiz, we were put to work. |
| First we gathered twigs ...

(although some needed help deciding what was meant by
"twigs"!)

... then we took
the twigs ...
|
.. to make the bugingham
hotel and the smaller bugalow.
|
| We finished the day
with an investiture for one of our new scouts. |
