The forecast was for a cold, windy and wet May hike. But, we
were lucky and the worst of the weather stayed away and allowed us an enjoyable
hike in Lathkill Dale (or the "Valley of Doom" as one of our hikers insisted on
calling it).
We started at Monyash, and worked our way around into Lathkill
Dale via the Limestone Way and Cales Dale.
