Today is Sub-camp challenge day. A series of sporting an mental challenges for which we pair up with Hope Valley Guides (we have to have specified minimum numbers if boys and girls in the teams).  It starts with "Operation Leopard" in the morning and in the afternoon we move to the sport field.

We play netball, football, volleyball, ultimate challenge and tug-of-war. We make the final of the tug of war against Dronfield Scouts. Buxton and Hope Valley had the crowd on their side, but lost 3 pulls to 2 against a very competitive team.

High Peak Radio hear about the high-quality contributions being made by 3rd Buxton Scouts and rush a team of reporters down to Chatsworth's "Field of Dreams" to get interviews with some of the key players.
