Saturday October 2nd was a wonderful sunny day. The day before (and the day after) it had poured with rain, but this made it perfect weather for our guided fungi walk with the National Trust wardens at the Longshaw Estate near Grindleford.

After the walk and lunch we followed the new ant trail that they have set up around the Estate.

Can you identify the fungi? There are 50 photos to identify. Be careful, because some fungi appear more than once.

Lets see if we can identify them all. If you know what they are, write them down and give your list to Cath. Try and get your list in by 1st November.
