Saturday October 15th was a wonderful sunny day. We had just had a couple of dry days before which it had poured with rain. So was it perfect weather for our guided fungi walk with the National Trust wardens at the Longshaw Estate near Grindleford? Well we certainly saw plenty of fungi, including pink waxcaps.

After the walk and lunch we followed the ant trail that they have set up around the Estate.
