Hike to Gradbach

10am Sunday 4th February 2007, weather frosty but sunny.

We started out from Grinlow car park entrance off Grinlow Road and set of in two separate groups towards Gradbach. We had maps, compasses and instructions ... no problems ... or so we thought!

So what happened?

Group 1, led by Paul, followed the route as per instructions. Group 2, "led" by Cath managed to head in the right general direction, but hopes of following the correct route were sadly misplaced. However, they did get to see un-planned attractions like Three Shire Heads.

At the start of the hike	Group 2 ask: Are we lost yet?	Group 2 ask: How did we get here?
Group 2 ask: Are we there yet?	The two groups meet up, and ...	Cath gets a quick map-reading lesson ... Lesson 1: This is a "map".
