Spring Gardens - Scout Garden

Preparations are underway for green-fingered members of the 3rd Buxton (Harpur Hill) Scout Group to create a sensory flowerbed at the Spring Gardens Shopping Centre as part of Buxton's entry into the 2008 Derbyshire in Bloom competition.

Scouts and cubs had to look at the entries from the Cub and Scout packs, and vote on the two winners.

The next step was to finalise on one design, taking the best elements from the winning entries, and one or two other ideas that we have had.

On a blustery Saturday November 10^th, the Scout Group built their design in the flower bed at the rear entrance of the Spring Gardens shopping Centre (behind Currys).
