It was a wet Sunday
morning when the High Peak Scouts and Guides set off on the St Georges Day
parade.
The parade, led by
Burbage band, made its way along Spring Gardens, through the Crescent and
up to the Devonshire Dome.
The rain stopped as
we reached the Dome. Inside we had a ceremony to celebrate St Georges Day,
led by Chris Tomlinson (Assistant District Commissioner for Scouts) and attended by The Major of the High Peak and the Scout County Commissioner.
One of our Scouts
read out the Scout Law, others carried our flags.
