The Association held its first barbeque on June 9th at the Hawker Centre. We were blessed with fine weather for this very enjoyable event and the venue was perfect; plenty of round tables under shady trees in the Centre's courtyard. The bar was open and the food excellent and plentiful. Many
members brought their partners and the ladies' colourful summer dresses added to the occasion.
We will make this a firm fixture for next year Our thanks to Percy Collino who made all the arrangements and organised a raffle, to the staff at the Centre and to all those who came and made the event such a success
