Dear Prospective Member

You may have already heard about the Hawker Association.

Several people including Ralph Hooper, Gordon Jefferson, Mike Hoskins, Chris Farara, Wilf Firth, Percy Collino, Harry Fraser-Mitchell and Barry Pegram, had for some time been thinking about and working towards such an association.

An initial survey of potential members was carried out to gauge interest. The response from those canvassed was overwhelmingly in favour, so the Provisional Committee  started the ball rolling! The inaugural meeting was held on 8 February 2003

Membership is open to anyone who worked or works for any of the Hawker companies that operated from Brooklands, Kingston, Langley, Dunsfold, Hamble and Farnborough:
Sopwith, Hawker, HSA, BAe and BAES.
List of companies

The aims are to keep alive the spirit and memories of the Hawker companies, to organise socials, meetings and events, to provide a means of communication between members, to publish newsletters, to publicise Hawker achievements and to facilitate the preservation of artifacts, papers, photos, etc., at appropriate locations.

You are invited to join the Association by viewing, printing and filling in the membership application form using the link below; return it to the Secretary with the modest membership fee. Please copy this form to any eligible friends or colleagues.
