My daytime job is in a busy NHS hospital as a superintendent sonographer. Medical ultrasound is a fascinating technology and many times patients comment on how nice it must be to do it all day.

Those of us who do of course don't always feel that way! But I suppose there are many worse ways of earning a crust.

I have also have an interest in the history of ultrasound, and ultrasound training. My clinical practise encompasses general abdominal, small parts, obstetric and vascular imaging.

In time I will expand on my thoughts and experiences in ultrasound, but for now I have a few links to be going on with....
