Concarneau The beautiful bay at Concarncau gave its name to the course overlooking it. It was designed by the famous English golf architect Fred Hawtree. The club house was converted from an old Breton manor, Le Mesuer, giving it a truly French feel. THE EIGHT GOLF COURSES YOU WILL HAVE A CHOICE OF PLAYING ARE:
St. Laurent host to the 1995 French Open and France's Professional Championships in 1988/89. Its fantastic forest setting creates a Woburn-like challenge the serious low handicappers won't want to miss.
Baden Golf Club The sea meets the countryside at the lovely Morbihan Gulf and Baden Golf Club is just another undiscovered gem awaiting the increasing numbers of british golfers, who are sold by uncrowded courses and cheaper rounds on offer than at Mediterranean resorts.
St.Malo further north, this club is set in the countryside near the picturesque walled city. The clubhouse was converted from a 17th century priory, and offers a warm and friendly atmosphere to locals and visitors alike. Again, there are 27 holes ensuring that if you make the slightly longer drive, there is plenty of golf to fill the day.
Rhuys Kerver, for anyone who likes to observe the wildlife from the fairways, a trip to Rhys Kerver is not to be missed. Set in the middle of a bird sanctuary, you can watch the birdies as well as hopefully making a few.Herons and egrets swoop to catch fish and feed in the sea while the golfers tackle a genuine links course.
Val Queven one of the best downland course in western France.
Odet For anyone looking for a less demanding round, the wide fairways of Odet will appeal. The 27 holes set in 130 hectacres of beautiful woodland make a great day's golf with plenty of time for lunch.
Ploemeur Ocean A superb links test on the Atlantic Ocean with some of the most spectacular views equal to Scotland's great venues.
