Our local village, Buleon, is just a couple minutes drive away where the local tabac, restaurant, and shops selling local produce can be found. The beautiful medievel town of Josselin is just 10 minutes drive away.
Here you can view the fantastic chateau situated on the Nantes-Brest canal. Tabacs, pavements restaurants and abundant shops are aplenty in this historical town.
Just 30 minutes drive away are the south coastal beaches and ports which are reminiscent of the cornish coast. La Trinite-sur-Mer has the best sailing waters, Quiberon is renowned for its sea water therapy centres & regattas and yet just a stones throw away, facing west is the Cote Sauvage, the wild coast.
The mysterious standing stones - four thousand of them - dolmens, and mounds were erected during Neolithic times, between 5000 & 2000 years BC in the town of Carnac.
Carnac Plage also happens to be a popular seaside resort therefore providing a good day out for all the family.
On the north coast, between Trebeurden & Perros-Guirec lies the extremely beautiful pink granite coast with rocks ranging in colour from coarse grained pink to a fine grained orange beige. A sight not to be missed. Close by is the old historical town of Dinan.
Half timbered houses, ramparts, & churches line the narrow streets amongst the many shops and restaurants. The second largest forest in Brittany - Lanouee Foret, is just 10 - 15 minutes away for enthusiastic walkers and cyclists to explore the many paths.
Broceliande conjures up the mysteries and magic of Arthurian legends. It is believed that the remains of Merlin lie in the megalithic monument in the Paimpont Forest. Seven thousand hectacres of this forest and the surrounding area attract many for its tranquility, beauty, castles and abbeys. Ideal for packing a picnic and chilling out under its canopy.
