To view files in the Adobe Acrobat PDF (Portable Document Format) format you will require a copy of Adobe Acrobat Reader or a similar PDF Reader.  Adobe Acrobat Reader is available to download from the Adobe website, free of charge, for various computer platforms and operating systems.  The link for downloading Acrobat is included below.

http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readermain.html

Copies of Acrobat Reader can also be found on many computer magazine cover disks including PC Plus, Personal Computer Magazine, PC Answers, and PC Pro.  The full windows version of Acrobat Reader is 16 Mb, and the standard version is 6 Mb so a magazine cover disk may be preferable.
