| 1. A wall hanging using a Rennie Mackintosh design which was developed on a silk noile background. I added handmade cords of various thicknesses; panels using organza and embroidered it with various decorative stitches. The main rose was appliquéd, stitched and beaded. | |

| 2. A framed picture. My inspiration for this was a cove on the Australian coastline. The landscape is wrapped thread work. I added free machine embroidery for the detail in the front. | |

and 4. Dragon and Dungeon Cushion covers Appliqué
and embroidery were used for these designs. The dragon’s body is of hand dyed silk. The spider’s web is stitched on material with a “failed” leaf print.

| 5. Foxglove
Card Satin stitch was used to embroider this design of a foxglove, which was then made into a card. |
6. Framed picture. A design found whilst looking for something else! A variety of different coloured gold twists were couched onto a silk dupion background. Check, smooth and rough purls, gold beads and seeding were used to complete the design. |
