Viola cornuta 'Belmont Blue'

v. 'Belmont Blue' Often known as 'Boughton Blue', this is a popular form of V. cornuta. It has lovely soft pale sky-blue flowers with just a hint of lilac, 1" across, which appear all summer. Slight veining and fine dark rays on paler lower petal. Low foliage hugs and covers the ground. Like all corunutas, it is very vigorous - ideal for ground cover under roses or other deciduous shrubs.
