Viola cornuta 'Blue Moon'

v.c. 'Blue Moon'

As far as we can see, identical to v.c. 'Blue Moonlight' which is also listed in RHS 'Plantfinder' with slightly more suppliers.

Makes a strong large clump with copious blooms (40 x 35 mm) that looks fantastic when all the flowers face forward; variegated foliage in spring is very attractive. Upper two petals are pale blue-lilac and slightly veined, the next two are pale yellow and the lowest petal a deeper yellow with strong dark rays. One of the best!
