Viola 'Bryony'

This unusual violetta is compact in every sense, having small flowers only 25 mm in diameter. The velvety carmine-purple petals, with a bright yellow eye, over-lap tightly to form a flat almost-perfect circle. Scented, but not strongly for a violetta. Petals seem to be regarded as a gourmet feast by the usual crew of viola pests and can be quickly stripped bare!
