Viola 'Bullion'


v. 'Bullion' Possibly the oldest viola still in cultivation. It was the first yellow self and was raised in 1867 by James Grieve, (yes the appleman) while he was nursery manager for Dicksons of Edinburgh.

Strong pansy growth, circular medium-large gold flower, strong 'whiskers', unscented.
