[Exhibition]Viola 'Cox's Moseley'

Raiser: Bernard Cox

Year: 1960's?

Colour: Pale yellow, suffused mauve.

General: A 'sport' from Moseley Ideal. It looks at its best when the suffusion is very strong and reaches right into the centre of the bloom. This is usually on early blooms, later ones having a tendency to fade.

Cultivation: An easy variety to grow and propagate. If it is not regularly pinched back in the side shoots, it will grow away and look like a straggly bedding variety. Restriction to two or three shoots is essential to get the blooms up to show size. Always produces a crop of basal shoots.
