Viola lutea x gracilis

viola lutea x gracilis' Lutea species are native to northern England and Scotland and were employed by some of the most famous Scottish breeders of Victorian times as parent plants to develop many of the best varieties we have today. Its hardy, reliable simplicity and creeping habit have ensured that it remains an excellent choice. This cross with the gracilis species is pale yellow but with stronger yellow on the lower petals.
