Colour: Dark purple self
General: As I can find no record of this variety at all, I can only assume that it was raised in Scotland. It has deep velvety blooms, which look equally good in vase or board classes, and reliable enough to produce specimen blooms of quality.
Cultivation: I find that a little Nitrogen feed is required to keep them going. Like some other varieties it is prone to making woody stems quite early in the season. Not prolific with cutting material, and can be slow to root.
