Viola 'Molly Sanderson'

v. 'Molly Sanderson' Very few plants of any species can boast of being truly black: Molly Sanderson comes close with her very striking matt black, 3cm diameter flowers with a yellow eye.

Low habit (15cm) and compact (30 cm across), best grown in semi-shade to prevent flagging.

One of Dave's Faves because it reminds him of his favourite beer - now if we could just breed it with a white rim ... but I have to say I prefer the less black varieties such as 'Roscastle Black' and 'Raven'
