National Viola and Pansy Society Spring Newsletter 2001

The society was approached by the organizing body for suggestions regarding the pansy and viola classes at this great summer show. I suggested that the once popular basket class be reinstated, and that Show Pansies should have a class for 6 blooms on a board. Both of these suggestions have been accepted and appear in the 2001 schedule. I do hope that these new clases get some support. Southport was at one time the premier venue for the showing of pansies and violas. With support it could be so again.
