Confidently flying circuits now both inside and outside, starting to try stall turns. The Raptor 50 is a joy to fly and has all the oomph for when I need to give it a little extra when I get into a difficult position. Hopefully by the end of February I’ll have mastered inside and outside figure 8’s and stall turns will be down to a fine art. Now what’s next after these………. A Chaos at 5 feet, I think not…..maybe loops, after all a stall turn is only a ¼ loop.

Raptor 30 V2 has been semi retired and have now brought my Raptor 50 V2 out of the hanger. The 30 was appearing to bog down in the turns. The 30 was appearing to be slightly underpowered. Having discovered the fine art of engine tuning ie: make sure there’s enough fuel going through to keep the engine cool, the Raptor 50 is now singing. Have transferred my fluorescent raptor canopy to the 50 to help orientation, it really does help to be able to see the thing.
