We are a non-profit "organisation" using a privately
owned boat.
We pay the owner a variable annual sum to offset his costs re maintenance,
insurance, etc, etc, etc
You can join as an individual or family.
You will also need Associate membership of Upper Thames Rowing Club (where Molly is moored).

Bringing
a Guest:-
Bringing a friend or two is easy. It is not normally
necessary to ask anyone, except for special events, concert nights,
etc. You sign you self onto the Crew Sign-On. Alongside your name
add something like “+Friend”, or “+1”. On the next line down, or lower
if there is already a name below your own, enter the name of your
friend followed by “(with yourname)”. You pay the owner £5
per visitor per visit in cash or cheque on the night, or later, or
by electronic payment. There is not really any specified number of
visitors per member per night. If you want several it might be diplomatic
to clear it with the owner &/or add them late on the day if there
is still space. There is also no specified limit to the number of
visits a non-member can make, though if they come often, it would
be cheaper to join! |
