McMahon (Morgan) retired with chain problems after passing T A Hester (Austin) who came to a halt.... All of the twenty-seven light cars that started checked in at the finish, along with three out of the four Morgans.

Thomas maybe the one to the left of the tall fellow (possibly Arthur Waite (Herbert Austin's son-in-law)) with the goggles.
