In early spring we were seduced by the bright colours of the plant catalogues and bought a herbaceous border kit on impulse.

In June 2007 we dug up yet more turf to make the new flower bed.  As well as the herbaceous flowers which came in the kit, it’s also got Iceland poppies, cosmos, petunias and sweetpeas.
