GreenWood is one of Snowdonia's exceptional award-winning family attraction with things to do whatever the weather and is North Wales's only Forest Park.
NEW for 2007! is a giant bouncer Wales’ first amazing giant jumping pillow for the whole family. Also NEW - look out for the Junior Jumper and TinyTots Tunnels for your 2-4 year olds. Also there are the following exciting attractions. TreeTop Towers – four towers linked by netting, rope bridges and tube slides. A maze,Green Dragon, the world’s first people-powered family roller coaster. The 70m Great Green Run the longest sledge slide in Wales. Then explore the Jungle Boat Adventure, have a go at Longbow shooting and build Dens in the Wildwood till the sun goes down. For the tots theres Toddlers’ Village. Try log sawing as well, and have your name engraved. Stroke the bunnies and meet the peacocks. Children can enjoy driving a mini-tractor and operating sand diggers. Stagger on stilts! Woodland crafts and sculptures are also here (with craft activities in main season most days). There are two outside Snack Bars serving delicious food.
The indoor "medieval" oak framed Visitor Centre is an attraction in its own right. Here you can learn how we manage our woodlands and conserve resources, also about ancient forests, Celtic tree calendars, learn about Welsh longbowmen and why they were famous, make music from wood and even try out a wooden pillow! There is also an indoor conservatory café.
