A BIG THANKS to all those who attended the bonfire on Saturday. We hope you all had a great time and an even bigger thanks to all those who helped make it a success.

This moths Church Parade will take place on 14 th November on Remembrance Sunday. Please can all members meet at the Church Hall in uniform at 9.30am. Don’t forget to wrap up warm, as we will be marching down to the Cenotaph.

The Pre-Christmas Party is coming and hopefully Santa will make an appearance! Tickets go on sale from next week from any Brigade Officer and are a snip at just ?3 for children and ?4 for adults. There is a present for every child under 16 from Santa and all under 16’s must be accompanied. It takes place at Queen Street Conservative Club on Saturday 11 th December and a supper is included in the price of the ticket.

Advance notice, the annual trip to Butlins Skegness is coming around and next years event promises to be even better than last years. It takes place on Fri 11 th – Mon14 th February 2005 at Skegness. Places can be secured though Brian Mills and cost just ?55 for under 15’s and ?85 for adults. More information and booking forms will be available from the 15 th November.

Have you gift aided your child’s subs contributions yet? For every ?1 you pay in subs, we can claim 28p back from the taxman. Cost to you. For a gift aid form, please contact any Brigade Officer.
For all those who have out their name down for the Pantomime on 11 th January 2005, all money is now due. Help with transport on the night would be greatly appreciated and we are meeting at the Church Hall at 6.45pm.

The Christmas Card Catalogues are still available from Mrs Gilmartin. If you have yet to get your Christmas Cards and decorations, then the orders need to be in as soon as possible.

The Christmas Fair is scheduled to take place on Saturday 27 th November 2004. We are looking for tombola prizes to help make this event a success. Any donations would be greatly appreciated and can be handed to any Brigade Officer. Also on the following day, we have a stall at the Dickensian marker where we are looking for any donations of prizes for the chocolate tombola. They will be very welcome and all profits will go to the Brigade.

Watch out for information on Spring Adventure 2005, which will be taking place from Easter Monday until Sunday. Following last years success we will once again be holding this at Edale. We should have a minimum of 6 place available to us but we can’t guarantee additional spaces that we managed to get last year. Details should be out in December.
