Thank you to all those who gave their support at the Brigade Body Shop Party. This event has raised £200 for the Brigade Funds, which is a fantastic amount. Congratulations to Val Kenworthy who won the First prize of seven nights away, after two redraws!
An advance date for your diaries! The Brigade Annual Trip to the Pantomime will be on 11th January 2005. Places will go on sale from September. This years pantomime is Sleeping Beauty. All together now! Oh no it isn’t……..!
Thank you to all those who donated chocolate for the market stall on Sunday 4th July. This event raised over £100 for Brigade Funds, so thank you to all those who helped. A big thank you especially to all those who helped man the stall on the day, as it wasn’t the nicest of days!!!

You are all invited to a Family Fun Day and BBQ on 25th July, in aid of Church Funds. There will be games of all kinds and a Balloon Race. It promises to be a fun filled event and I wonder who will be in the stocks this year….?!?!
From September 2004 the weekly subs will be increasing to £1. This rise will help to pay for the rise in capitation fees and will help to provide more equipment to use on the Brigade Nights. We would like to thank you for your fantastic support over the past Brigade year and your support over the coming year. We couldn’t do it without you.

We closed this year on Thursday 15th July and we will be reopening on Tuesday 7th September. We hope that you all have a wonderful summer and we will see you all then.

A reminder to all those who are member of the 150 club, that your subscriptions are now due. It is either £10 for the whole year payable in July or August, or £1 per month throughout the rest of the year. If
you would like to become a member of the 150 club please see any Brigade Officer.

Good Luck to all the Seniors who are starting to their physical, Service and Skill sections of their Duke of Edinburgh Awards this Summer. Since the Duke of Edinburgh group has started, it has gained members and volunteers. If you would like to volunteer at this group, please see Brian Mills.

Just a reminder for those parents who pay tax and haven't gift aided their subscriptions. If you sign a gift aid form, then we can gain28p back from the tax man for every ?1 you pay in subs, at no extra cost to you. This is a way of helping the Brigade raise money for funds, without having to do anything. See any Brigade Officer if you would like to gift aid your child’s subs.
