Hey, I found my diary and someone has already written something in it ...
This is great, so who is next to write an entry?
Hope 08 Coffee morning:
On a beautiful Saturday morning on the 9th February a group of teenagers from the churches in Brackley set up a stall in front of the town hall and gave out free Fair Trade tea and coffee to passers by as an act of kindness. Right next to the stall was a board on which people could write comments about what they’d like improved in Brackley.
We had a successful morning giving away almost 50 drinks and received quite a few comments, which we have already read and are discussing how we can help and respond to them. This action was a response to the Hope 2008 initiative, a national call for churches across the UK to reach out and make a positive difference in their local communities. We will be holding more of these coffee stalls on the coming Saturdays so please come down for a drink and a chat and tell us your views on Brackley. Thank you to anyone who came down on Saturday and made everything worthwhile.
