In the Town Hall piazza on Saturday February 9th We served around 50 FREE cups of fair trade coffee & tea to people from Brackley. We wanted to know what people hoped for the Community of Brackley and they were happy to tell us and also write their comments on a display card. By the end we had received over 30
The young people wearing their ‘Hope in Brackley’ sweatshirts got to speak to many people who were walking around or shopping in the Town centre.
We are continuing with 3 more Saturday Coffee Stalls before Easter where we hope to receive more comments and then to publish them. Our thanks to the Town Council for giving us the opportunity to set up this project.

Filmed in Morocco and starring actors such as Joseph Mawle, James Nesbitt (Cold Feet) and David Oyelow (Spooks and The Last King of Scotland), the production is ‘an extremely vivid piece of drama’. Andrew Graystone, Director of the Churches’ Media Council, goes on to say that ‘this Easter the whole country will be talking about Jesus. Not about church politics or the finer points of theology, but about Jesus.'

This Easter, Jesus is going to be broadcast into 10 million homes. ‘The Passion’ is a dramatic BBC series retelling the death and resurrection of Christ. It’s scheduled to go out at peak time, in 6 half hour slots between Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday.
On Easter Monday 24th March in the afternoon a circular walk is being organised. The walk starts in Brackley and takes a route out to the Park in Turweston. The children are welcome and why not take a picnic with you. Just Hope the weather forecast is good!
