The following questions were asked in the House of Commons on January 14th 2004 regarding the numbers of puppies being imported into the UK. We should not be surprised that there are no answers. There are NO answers for any of the questions relating to this trade. How can there be - when a high percentage of the trade is operated and carried out by unlicensed breeders - whether they be In Ireland, Wales, Scotland or England? Puppy farmers, commercial outlets and dealers are making vast profits from this trade - and we allow it to continue . It is time for you and everyone else who cares about the welfare of dogs, to stand up and be counted. This is a disgrace that WE allow to happen... Do YOU care enough to do something about it.
