Buying your puppy by credit card

Which all seems very good if you are short of cash and desperate for a pedigree dog.
You can then pay off a certain amount every week to the bank, or building society.   
It is just another one of the tactics that the pet shops employ in order to be able to widen their market.
Many people do not have the four hundred pounds to go and buy a puppy for cash, buying like this seems the answer for all concerned.
The pet shop gets their money straight away and you get your puppy.

There are even outlets which will let you purchase your puppy over the internet.   You can leave your credit card details and the puppy of your choice will  be delivered to your door.  You never physically have to leave your armchair. Sounds rather similar to ordering a pizza from a delivery outlet!  

Is it any wonder then when it all goes wrong?  Dog ownership made easy.

The old trusted advice - 'see pup with its Mum'  has been thrown out of the window. Even knowing you cannot afford a dog  - does not    apply anymore.

With this mentality it does not bode well for the new puppy in their new home.
What happens to the puppy depends on whether the owners have the time, money, or inclination to try and sort the problems out.

Whether they survive or not is just another one of the many obstacles for these poor, sad, bred-for-the-trade puppies.
