The first time I saw Howard in concert was at 'The Royal Northern College of Music' in Manchester in 1993 during his Synthesizer tour. It was here that Howard had once been a student. It was a very small venue, but it had a wonderful atmosphere. This is where I bought my signed copy of 'Working In The Backroom' from Howards parents who were selling the merchandise in the foyer.

Unfortunately I didn't take my camera on this occasion so I have no photos but that was all going to change the next time I went to see Howard.
