The choir was re-established in 2000 in order to strengthen the
musical life of the congregation and support the praise.
The choir practices once a month. The choir leads the singing that Sunday, it
may introduce a new hymn, and sing an introit or anthem or both.
New members are always welcome. An ability to sing in tune is essential, the
ability to read music is preferred, but not compulsory.

The church has a bible fellowship whose principal aim is to try
and bring the bible message and it's meaning alive to modern day living. This
group has been meeting for over a year now, very informally, every Tuesday
where they study a passage with the help of Bible reading notes and discuss its
meaning to us today. They do not go in for sermons and everyone is encouraged
to join in the discussion.
The Bible Fellowship meet each Tuesday evening (7.30pm) in the Lounge

We meet weekly on Wednesdays in the Lounge. We pray from 6.45 -
7.15pm., but the Lounge is available from 6.30pm for people who wish to sit
quietly and gather their thoughts before we begin.
Our prayers are spoken and unspoken. We have a rota of people who have
indicated a willingness to lead our prayer times. This is an informal and
friendly gathering to which everyone is welcome.

A house group is an opportunity to meet other Christians in a
relaxed atmosphere and develop friendships. It is an opportunity for bible
study, in which everyone can contribute their thoughts. It is an opportunity
for the honest facing of doubts and questions. It is a place for encouragement
and mutual support. It is a place where people can come and just be, secure in
the knowledge that they are accepted just as they are.
You are welcome to join us every Thursday at 7.30pm .

Howe Praise is the recently formed church praise band.
Born out of an ad hoc group, put together for a Kirk Soiree, the band has
expanded to comprise 4 guitars (including bass), drums, 2 keyboards and 4
vocalists, with ages from school age through to, shall we say, a little older?
The band lead regular evening services focusing on contemporary praise, which
take place in the church hall, rather than the church because of the
amplification required. Details of future praise services will be publicised in
local press, by intimation and of course the church web website.
