The choir was re-established in 2000 in order to strengthen the
musical life of the congregation and support the praise. A small "working
choir" sings every week to give a lead to the congregational singing and
to support the organist.
The main choir practices once a month. The choir leads the singing that Sunday,
it may introduce a new hymn, and sing an introit or anthem or both. And when
Howe Trinity hosts the monthly Songs of Praise service it leads the singing at
that.
New members are always welcome. An ability to sing in tune is essential, the
ability to read music is preferred, but not compulsory.

The church has a bible study group whose principal aim is to
try and bring the bible message and it's meaning alive to modern day living.
This group has been meeting for over a year now, very informally, every Tuesday
where they study a passage with the help of Bible reading notes and discuss its
meaning to us today. They do not go in for sermons and everyone is encouraged
to join in the discussion.
The Bible Study Group meet each Tuesday evening (7.30pm) at 12 Stewart Road,
Alford
