Current information and events involving Howe Trinity Parish Church and members

This page is to inform members of the Howe Trinity Parish of things which affect the Church or Parish. It can be the details of a forthcoming meeting or event or maybe a plea for help of some kind.
CURRENT NOTICES
CHILDRENS HOLIDAY CLUB
The Alford Churches are working together to present a holiday club for children of primary school age during week 11-15 August from 10am - 12noon each day. Volunteers to work with the children in small groups, and to help with catering will be very welcome. Please contact Rev John Cook on 62282 for more details.
  BIBLE STUDY GROUP
Following the completion of the new church hall the Bible Study group will change their meeting venue to the small meeting room in the hall. The time still continues to be the same, namely Tuesday evenings at 7.30pm.
The group has recently commenced their 12 week study from the book of Daniel. The study is entitled Daniel - Spiritual living in a secular world.
A permissive society, a power hungry people, a nation without God - Daniel's situation in Babylon sounds something like our own. In the midst of secular forces, how can we remain true to biblical values? How can we have a positive impact on those around us? Daniel is a great role model - a man who rose to prominence without compromising his beliefs.
We look forward to welcoming you.

    RECENT SOUP AND SWEET

HOUSE GROUPS
A house group is an opportunity to meet other Christians in a relaxed atmosphere and develop friendships. It is an opportunity for bible study, in which everyone can contribute their thoughts. It is an opportunity for the honest facing of doubts and questions. It is a place for encouragement and mutual support. It is a place where people can come and just be, secure in the knowledge that they are accepted just as they are.
You are welcome to join us at 8 Stewart Place, Alford every Thursday at 7.30pm.
