| MALAWI SCHOOL FUND RAISING | ||
| Following her visit to Malawi in the summer through the charity Link Community Development, Val Goodlad is raising funds so that a teacher from Gosheni school can come to Scotland. You can leave donations and take a photo card in the vestibule. For further information contact Val on 62780. | ||
| GUILD WEEK 2009 | ||

| GUILD SONGS OF PRAISE SERVICE | ||
| Completing Guild Week 2009, The Guild Songs of Praise Service will take place on Sunday 22nd November at 6.30pm in Howe Trinity Church. The Guest Speaker will be the Very Rev David Lunan, former Moderator of the Genaral Assembly. All are welcome. | ||
| CHRISTIAN BOOK CLUB | ||
| Howe Trinity Church are planning to start a Christian Book Club, which will involve periodic get-togethers to discuss a Christian book of our choice. If you would be interested in any way or can offer help or suggestions to move this idea forward, please contact Sandra Wright on Alford 63465. | ||

Trinity's Prayer Meeting takes place on Wednesday evenings in the LOUNGE
from 6.45 to 7.15pm. The Lounge is available from 6.30pm for people who wish to
sit quietly and gather their thoughts. All welcome. Download a Prayer Calendar for November - click here A House Group is an opportunity to meet other Christians in a relaxed atmosphere and develop friendships. It is an opportunity for bible study, in which everyone can contribute their thoughts. It is an opportunity for the honest facing of doubts and questions. It is a place for encouragement and mutual support. It is a place where people can come and just be, secure in the knowledge that they are accepted just as they are. | Howe
Trinity Church Library contains a wide range of books relevant to the Christian
faith, available to friends and members of Howe Trinity. The Library will be
open in the church hall on the first Sunday of every month, but books can be
borrowed at any time, for up to one month - contact Somersal Shepley on Alford
64060 or Sandra Wright on Alford 64365 for more information. Donations or loans
of books to the library are always welcome. We hope you will enjoy and benefit

| TOOLS FOR SELF RELIANCE | ||
| Alec Keith has organised a number of collections for Tools for Self Reliance (www.tfsr.org). TFSR takes old hand tools and sewing materials and equipment, reconditions them, and sends them to tradesman and women in the third world. If you can help, please contact Alec directly on Alford 62362. | ||
| USED POSTAGE STAMPS | ||
| The Church of Scotland Board of World Mission can sell used postage stamps. These can be "posted" in the box in the vestibule. Throughout 2005 the money raised from sale of stamps will go to help Missionary Projects. | ||
