Marston Moor, Yorkshire Nothing much known about the history of 1652 HCU, except that, unlike other training units, it took part in the first 1000 bomber raid on Koln. A Mr.Clive Rothwell, whos mother-in-laws first husband Ken, a tail-gunner in Halifax L9605, took part. Unfortunately, like many, he did not return.
