In the Introduction section we mention the ever-escalating costs of running a vehicle fleet. If a very conservative (say 5-10%), saving can be made on costs, then the initial capital outlay in purchasing the FleetFocus package can be recovered in a very short time-scale indeed.

What follows is just a brief list of some of the key Cost Control features inherent in the Software.

Main module

• Avoid unneccesary expense with the 'Authorisation' facility, which determines if contemplated work on a vehicle can be justified, and if justified are the eventual charges reasonable. Properly controlled Jobs Authorisation is, we feel, a major contributor to cost saving.
• The 'Expenditure and Accruals' report monitors both actual expenditure and committed expenditure in user-defined 'past' and 'forward' periods, with values being analysed into user-defined cost 'groupings'.
• The software will identify rogue and high operating cost vehicles at an early stage.
• Leased Vehicles:- Early indication of Excess Mileage charges with predictions of actual charges if allowed to run to end of term. Allows re-allocation possibilities to less-heavy usage.
• Owned Vehicles:- have full depreciation management facilities in-built.
• 'Expenditure by Cost Code' reports provide full costing analyses against user-definable Cost groupings, Reasons and Events.
• A further report illustrates R & M expenditure Vs. Budget.
• The system allows close control over high-value 'Wheels and Tyres' specifically, and monitors recovery of Road Fund Licence refund claims.

• The Drivers / Self-Assessment Module incorporates a full P11d suite, not just for vehicle-related benefit-in-kind but for the whole range of the various 'sections' making up a P11d return as a whole
• P11d report and P46(Car) report are automatically produced in a format acceptable to the Inland Revenue
• P11d(b) Report - NIC Summary, automatically calculates employer NIC Class.1A contributions due for a given period, individually for each employee and gives aggregate overall totals.
• Monitors recovery from individuals of offence-related fines, paid initially by the employer.

• The Accident Module offers a high degree of control in accident management including expedition of repairs, and costs recovery and credits management.
• A wide variety of accident analysis facilities, both Financial and Incidence is available.
