Mountains have you ever given them much thought?

They are often described as magical or mystical places, yet in reality they can be a freezing and incredibly dangerous place. If that's the case why then is there a waiting list of people wanting to climb Mount Everest? What type of person is willing to risk their life just so they can say that they have stood on top of the world, would you?

Of course some mountains are easier to climb than others! When you compare the height of the mountains in the British Isles to those in the rest of the world, you will see that the British ones are merely the pimples on the face of this earth!
