
Who are we?
We are a group of parents of children with Special Needs such as Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Autistic Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Auditory Processing Disorder etc. Our group covers Tring (in Hertfordshire) and neighbouring areas.
What do we do?
We meet approximately monthly in Term Time at various members' houses for either coffee mornings or afternoons. Everyone can chat and access our extensive library of Books, CD Roms, Videos, DVDs etc for a small hiring fee per item of 50p to £1.00 for the month.
We also have occasional speakers, which have included the Extended Schools Co-ordinator, an Occupational Therapist and the Parent Partnership Officer covering Tring.
We hold occasional fund-raising events - see the photo to the right.
What information do we have to provide?
We have a large library covering ADHD, Auditory Processing Disorder, Autistic Spectrum, Brain Gym, Daily Skills such as typing and learning the time, Dysgraphia, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Literacy, Motor and Sensory Skills, Numeracy, Social Skills, Speech and Language Skills and more besides.
